Purpose

The purpose of this Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is to establish a streamlined and efficient onboarding process for clients. This process aims to achieve several objectives, including:

  • Building trust with clients.

  • Enabling seamless communication.

  • Ensuring the success of grant writing projects.

Scope

This SOP covers the entire inquiry and onboarding journey for grant writing clients, from the initial contact with a prospect to the first session with an assigned grant writer. It includes steps related to prospecting, consultation, onboarding, assignment of clients, and the initial client meeting.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities outlined in this SOP are as follows:

Admin Team

  • Send onboarding information and reminders.

  • Create client drives for documents.

  • Send meeting notes, invites, and action steps.

The CEO (Chardé)

  • Assign clients to grant writers.

  • Start the first client meeting, setting expectations, and introducing grant writers.

Assigned Grant Writer

  • Use the grant readiness checklist and onboarding script to conduct the first onboarding meeting and needs for the next steps.

  • Conduct follow-up and next steps meetings with clients.
